Chris Hodge

Chris Hodge is an independent advisor on governance and regulation. For ten years until 2014, Chris was Director of Corporate Governance at the Financial Reporting Council in the UK. In that capacity he was responsible for the UK Corporate Governance Code and for introducing the first national stewardship code for investors. Chris then served as the FRC’s Director of Strategy from 2014 to 2016.

Chris is currently an advisor to Morrow Sodali, having previously advised IoD, CGI: The Governance Institute, and the International Corporate Governance Network among others. Internationally he has worked extensively with development banks in emerging markets to raise standards of corporate governance and provided director training through ecoDa (the European institute of director bodies and others). He is a member of the International Advisory Board of Hawkamah, a corporate governance institute in Dubai, and was a previously a member of the Hellenic Corporate Governance Council in Greece.
