The Board also actively influences the development of financial reporting internationally, helping to ensure that the UK’s views are effectively represented in this important area. In addition, in the same year, she was appointed the first chair of the newly formed Public Interest Oversight Board’s Nominations Committee. The Committee manages the selection of members of the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board and the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants.
